my work doesn't state that i have to work on a saturday but i rendered four overtime hours yesterday just so that my team will not fall behind schedule and target... it was ok for me... and for the first time, i think, that i was able to go to work early and still leave while the sun is still up (i work for half-day only... duh!)
also last night, i was able to meet up with some college friends (well, technically my whole block... hahaha) and have a somewhat 'Christmas party' at a block mate's house. it was really fun and we don't actually have a program or what but just being together, chatting with the latest things in life and playing cards and PS3... it was actually relaxing after working for almost 15 hours everyday for the past week and a half or so... even if we are shouting most of the time from excitement (of playing bridge or playing some rockband).
and would you believe... even though we had alcoholic beverages in store... no one was drinking... hahaha... well, i am not sure after i left but when i was there we were just drowning ourselves with coke light, macaroons,
chicharon and butterscotch.
it was really fun being with your friends, it has been a while since we last saw each other and well... it was really nice. not a year has passed since we stopped seeing each other everyday but to think that we grew tired of each other's faces and presence because we've been together for 4 years... i think last night proved that wrong.
also... with blogging, my friend said when we were taking her home, that when people start going to work... blogging became last place in things-to-do... and the thing that always come first would be... getting some sleep. :D
